Since August 2025 Seminars for Security policy take place in Sztynort under the title: „Sztynort – Our Place for Dialogue“.

From 06.09. to 11.09. it was the 3rd Seminar of this type with more than 20 participants. Young officers from 3 NATO -countries (Poland, Germany, Denmark), plus Lithuania joining soon the MNC NE, met students from universities from the same countries to discuss, listen military and civil scientific experts and debate about questions of cooperation between military and civil aerea. There were a number of remarks of guests from all four countries visiting Sztynort after an opening in Vilnius.

The NATO Security Policy Seminar SZTYNORT started in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Over the opening days, participants travelled to Vilnius, met with representatives of the Polish Embassy, and gained insights into NATO and regional security.
The first two days included briefings, a visit to the KGB Museum, a wreath-laying ceremony and a visit to the Freedom Centre, providing participants with valuable insights into the security landscape in the Baltic region.
Two days. Two perspectives. One common understanding of NATO’s security.
Days three and four took the seminar from strategic dialogue to historical reflection. At SZTYNORT and Wolf’s Lair, participants explored history, resistance and responsibility for the future, including the events surrounding the 20 July 1944 attempt to change the course of history.
The participants also visited Trakai Castle and explored the Suwałki Gap, a strategically important area connecting Poland and Lithuania.
Through discussion and exchange, the seminar connected lessons from the past with the security challenges of today.
Day 5 | Strategic Dialogue: NATO, the EU & European Security
The final day focused on NATO–EU relations and the future of European security.
Following strategic discussions with political, military and academic experts, participants worked in groups on strengthening NATO–EU relations and presented their findings.
The final day brought valuable discussions, new perspectives and a strong spirit of international cooperation.
